Now I see your point.

And you have yet again turned to a site that is heavily altered. Dino has been around for quite a while and has been pretty extensively tweaked.

At a high level I feel certain that you will have to make edits to the BTO configuration stuff in the admin so that the appropriate images which you want to associate with each such category can be edited. Then you need to work your way through ConfigurePrdCode.asp and locate the section that displays those title bars, apply logic changes and probably CSS class changes in order to show these images on the front end.

All I want is the ability to have an image above the section of choices so like the section of cases it would just have a cases header just to make the look and feel better. like as shown in a diferent post:
http://www.dinopc.com/shop/pc/configurePrd.asp?idproduct=1093

or something just to make it less plain.

Thanks for your response,

Stephen

So if anyone could help me mod the configprdcode page or anything that could make this possible any help would be appreciated.

(i noted on this sites code they made the category name appear in a div that has an id that the css targets to put the background picture in)

Thanks ,

Stephen T.

So what's happening here is your users have two different carts going in two different sessions, one under HTTP and the other under HTTPS.

You need to have your site configured to have keepSessionIdSecure ("New ID on Secure Connection") set to false.

It actually has nothing directly to do with saved carts, view cart or the OPC.
Using ProductCart : Slow Category/Product Loading

    Author: garymike
Subject: Slow Category/Product Loading
Posted: 16-May-2012 at 10:49am

Is anyone else experiencing slow loading of the edit Categories, subcategories, or products page? Our database is quite large and has over 4000 products with about 3000 categories (including subcategories). The hierarchy is about 4 levels deep before the product is reached in some cases. When the edit category page loads it can take about 5 minutes or more just to show the entire listing before I make edits because it is loading in a depth-first manner. Is there any way that I can optimize this load time by caching this or changing the method of loading to dynamically load each node of subcategories on click? I would even be more happy with the loading if the category tree loaded in a breadth-first method. Any thoughts on this slow loading or some odd setting I may have changed would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Since the url is generated based on the title of the product or category... we can just add a separate field and point it to that instead. Sounds pretty simple to me.

With that selected it should be just fine - 1 line per order always.
We don't have any plans to re-introduce the old page - that way lies a support headache of epic proportions, as there is likely to always be a small number of people who preferred the previous version of each page, so we could end up supporting every version of every page!
