Don't miss the very important update described in the August 18 2011 blog entry.

I am glad I am not the only one who is having this problem. I do not like the new version AT ALL. It takes forever to load anything.

The issue described in this post was not related to the new version.
There were other underlying causes. I recommend that you open a ticket.

I have had to open several since I have updated to 4.1. If I could go back to 3.5 without losing all of my information I would in a heartbeat. I have had nothing but problems since this update. The time I spend waiting for things to load is ridiculous. I never had to wait on 3.5. I may of had to push a couple more buttons but I got 10x more work done then I am now because all I do is sit and wait. Right now I can really say I am not a happy customer.
p.s. I had to hire a tech to actually work with you guys on the current ticket I have open. |

We build PC stores full time and I really have to share my belief that there are not the performance differences between v3 and v4.
Without seeing your site it is hard to speculate on the cause of the performance issues, but if you have involved a developer I imagine you may have alterations in the code. Could those be at fault? Where is the store hosted? Someone who knows PC or some inferior host selected based on price? All of these are factors that can contribute to performance and other negative issues.
2 cents...
