New shopping cart software combines high-end ecommerce features with remarkable ease of use
MISSION VIEJO, CA, February 18, 2002 /For General Release/ -- Early Impact, an ecommerce software development company, announced today the official release of ProductCart, a new shopping cart application that combines advanced eCommerce features with truly merchant-friendly store management.
ProductCart’s competitive advantage is two-fold. On one hand, this shopping cart software includes high-end capabilities typically available only in much more expensive products. Among its features: the ability to allow for multiple pricing, discounts and payment terms based on the customer type (e.g. wholesale vs. retail); dynamic shipping calculation; turnkey integration with many leading payment gateways for real-time credit card processing; advanced order management; and more.
On the other hand, ProductCart comes with an innovative administration component – the “Control Panel” – that was built from the ground up to allow for fast and intuitive store management by non-technical small business owners. ProductCart’s Control Panel is a full-featured, browser based administration console that provides access to literally every aspect of the online store.
ProductCart was developed entirely using Active Server Pages (ASP), providing speed and reliability for the store owner as well as site visitor. Another advantage of its architecture lies in the ability to be seamlessly integrated within a Web site’s existing graphical interface.
