Build an online computer store selling custom PCs with ProductCart Build To Order
This demo uses the Build To Order version of ProductCart (Details - Buy). ProductCart Build To Order is an ideal solution for selling custom computers on the Internet. Many online computer stores already use ProductCart BTO to better compete with the "big guys" in the industry, allowing customers to fully configure their PCs as they buy them.
Things to look for:
- When you visit this demo, note how some computer systems can be built from scratch, whereas other systems are partially pre-configured and can be either purchased “as is” or customized.
- Try saving a quote for a system, then come back at a later time to modify the quote, and turn it into an order. Also, note how certain products are available both as a selectable item when configuring a computer, and as stand-alone products in the "Accessories" category.
- Note that prices, product names, and product descriptions are completely fictitious on these stores, and that the number and type of demo stores featured on the Early Impact Web site may change over time. In addition, please note that although the databases behind these sample stores are reset on a regular basis, these demos are fully functional and therefore they are modified during the day by other existing or prospective ProductCart users who may change many of the store settings. Sometimes this results into the stores not functioning properly.
