Create a Google Base data feed to post product to Google Product Search
With ProductCart you can easily create a Google Base data feed for bulk uploading your products and services to the Google Base system. This is how you can make your product visible in the "shopping" section of the Google search engine, which is called Google Product Search. And if you are using Google Checkout, that becomes part of the picture too!

The following might be helpful to understand how Google handles your products:
- Google Product Search
This is the new area of the Google search engine that you can access by clicking on "Shopping" in the Google main navigation.
- Google Base
To submit your products to Google Product Search, you need to upload them (one item at a time or in bulk) to a system called Google Base. You can think of Google Product Search as a subset of Google Base.
- Bulk Uploading to Google Base
Uploading products to Google Base one at a time can be very time consuming. Instead, you will want to upload products in bulk. To do so, you need to create a specially formatted "data feed". ProductCart contains a feature that helps you quickly create a data feed.
- Google Base, Google Product Search and Google Checkout
If Google Checkout is active on your store, and you upload product to Google Base, when those products appear in Google Product Search there will be a Google Checkout badge next to them. This makes the items stand out a bit, so it can help with conversion.
