Authorize.Net Test Mode issue
Posted on 02.03.10. Issue: when using Authorize.Net in test mode, an expired credit card account used for testing caused test transactions to be declined.
Tax Rate Lookup issue
Posted on 01.27.10. Issue: when using a US tax data file with multiple states, rates were not returned in some cases. This file addresses the problem. See the ReadMe inside the ZIP for details.
Sitemap issue (updated)
Updated on 01.11.10. Issues: sitemap index not generated correctly in some cases (large catalogs); sitemap not generating correct URLs in certain cases; sitemap not generating Keyword Rich URLs for content pages; XML failing with certain special characters.
USPS rates not being returned
Released on 01.06.10. Issue: a change in the USPS API (we were not notified of it) is causing Priority and Express rates not to be returned when USPS Priority and Express boxes are used.
Browse by Category Style Issue
Released on 01.06.10. Issue: an incorrect page style was in some cases passed to subcategories, even if the top-level category used the correct page display style.
PayPal Payflow issue
Released on 12.20.09. Payflow Link issue in the storefront (when shipping address not provided) and in the Control Panel (issue updating payment settings).
Tax Zone issue
Released on 12.20.09. Taxes not being correctly calculated when using tax zones.
Content Page issue
Released on 12.20.09. The issue consisted of content pages not being accessible by wholesale customers. The issue did not affect retail customers or customers belonging to a pricing category.
UPS Shipping Wizard issue
Released on 12.17.09. In some cases, the drop-down in the UPS Shipping Wizard was not being populated with the UPS shipping service chosen by the customer.
ProductCart v4 Patch #3
Released on 12.05.09. This is a comulative Service Pack. It addresses a few security vulnerabilities that were recently reported. Therefore, it should be considered a high priority update. More info

ProductCart v3.51

USPS rates not being returned
Released on 01.06.10. Issue: a change in the USPS API (we were not notified of it) is causing Priority and Express rates not to be returned when USPS Priority and Express boxes are used.
12.05.09 - Security Patch
This security patch fixes a few open issues that were recently discovered. Instructions and details on the vulnerabilities that have been fixed are included in the ZIP file.
Fixed Keyword-Rich URLs issue (SEO files)
Properly formatted URLs (e.g. myProduct-118p432.htm), if pointing to the wrong folder (i.e. not the "pc" folder) did not return a Page Not Found (404) error, but rather tried to render the page. Now a 404 error is returned and a "200 OK" server response is given only when the call is for a file in the correct directory.
PayPal PayFlow Pro Update - IMPORTANT
07.24.09 - Users of PayPal Payflow Pro must update their stores by uploading these files prior to September 1, 2009 as a change on the gateway side (some URLs are changing) will make communications between your store and Payflow Pro fail after August 31st, 2009. For details, version compatibility, and installation instructions, please refer to the ReadMe document included in the ZIP file.
PayPal Order Total Issue
This fix is for stores running v3.11 to v3.5. The issue has to do with a malicious user's ability to alter the order total. See the ReadMe file included in the ZIP file for details. If you run ProductCart v3.51 you don't need these files. If you run an earlier version, please update at least to v3.11 and then download the fix.
Updated SEO Files
We updated the SEO files (keyword-rich URLs) to remove a limitation ("nofollow" on page navigation in viewcategories.asp). Download the updated files.

Offical releases

You can update your store by using the "Check for Updates" feature, unless otherwise noted.

ProductCart v4

v4 Upgrade for existing ProductCart users was released on Tuesday, October 27. Use the "Check for updates" link in your Control Panel to download the upgrade. Your ProductCart license must be eligible for upgrades in order for your to download the v4 Upgrade. To make your license eligible, purchase the ProductCart Technical Support & Software Updates Plan. The v4 is free under the plan.

ProductCart eBay Add-on Update

On 08.19.09 we released an update for the eBay Add-on. It was sent to all eBay Add-on users on file. If you use the eBay Add-on, but did not receive the update message, please contact us.

ProductCart v3.51 Update and Patch

On 01.25.09 we released the 3.51 Update through the Update Management System. On 02.27.09 we release a small patch for v3.51, which can be downloaded from the ProductCart WIKI:

Updating to v3.51
You can update to v3.51 from either v3.5 or from v3.11. The latter is a consolidated update that allows you to jump all the way to the very latest version from a much older version.
v3.51 Patch
The v3.51 Patch is a small maintenance update, with minimal overlap with add-on's and other file sets. you may or may not need it: learn more about the 3.51 Patch and whether or not you need it.

Useful scripts

Find out the path to a certain folder using MapPath. Download and unzip the file, then FTP it to the directory for which you would like to find out the path. Then, load the mappath.asp file in your browser.
